If I check the list of convo topics here, I can locate the lyrics for The Rotting Game and Rock N' Roll Fire... but what about the song in between?
At least it's in between on the mp3 I have, which is arranged in a sort of "secret track" kind of way... I don't know if this is how the album presents itself or not, because like most people I only decided to buy the album way after it was released... meaning I was disappointed, but now have a $4 credit at Interpunk.
Anyway, you know the song... starts of in either German, Dutch or Belgian and then is done in english with the world's greatest lyrics of any song ever.

Re: LYRICS!!!
Tue, September 19, 2006 - 6:07 PMThat is actually Bobby Joe's primitive cover of "Stick it Out", which is on Joe's Garage by Frank Zappa. It makes a lot more sense in the context of Zappa's album. The character discovers he's a latent appliance fetishist, and he's directed by L. Ron Hoover of the Church of Appliantology to seek one out. He learns German (because a lot of really cute ones come from over there) and proceeds to an appliance-oriented nightclub called The Closet. Hilarity ensues. -

Re: LYRICS!!!
Tue, September 19, 2006 - 7:56 PMI don't imagine Zappa would be available via iTunes, would it? Pity I'm antiTunes.
And the lyrics I do know make more sense to me now.
Now I must seek it out, it seems. -

Wed, September 20, 2006 - 11:59 AMI think you can get Joe's Garage on Rhapsody, if you're not anti-that. It's one of his best albums, by the way. -

Wed, September 20, 2006 - 1:04 PMPeople legally download music? Really? -

Re: LYRICS!!!
Wed, September 20, 2006 - 4:46 PMI don't think having access to a system that you can first search for something and then download the relevant information is illegal.
Google has allowed me to do that for years, it seems hypocritical that if I used another system for the same purpose that it would somehow be illegal.

Wed, September 20, 2006 - 8:03 PMHmm, well, you can LISTEN to Joe's Garage on Rhapsody, if you're just trying to hear it. Downloading is another story.
